Fools Garden marks its 33rd anniversary in the year 2024.
A charity gala and a three-day music festival are set to take place in Pforzheim, Germany, next August. The events, organised by Fools Garden, will raise funds for the "Water is Right" foundation and "People in Need".
The charity gala, scheduled for Friday, August 2, 2024, will be held at the CongressCentrum. Famous artists such as Fools Garden, SWR Big Band, Southwest German Chamber Orchestra, and Rolf Stahlhofen, co-founder of Söhne Mannheims, will perform without a fee, with all proceeds going to the charities.
The following day, Saturday, August 3, 2024, the three-day festival will move to Kulturhaus Osterfeld. The festival will feature around 40 artists, musicians, and bands with a connection to Fools Garden. The Malersaal will serve as a lounge for meetings on both festival days. The Saturday program will take place in the Inner Courtyard and Large Hall of Kulturhaus Osterfeld.
The festival's first evening will see performances by the Grammy-winning SWR Big Band and the Southwest German Chamber Orchestra. The performances on Sunday, August 4, 2024, will take place at Kulturhaus Osterfeld (Inner Courtyard and Large Hall) from 4 PM. Artists performing include Die Höhner, Dieter Thomas Kuhn, Eure Mütter, Stumpes Zieh und Zupf Kapelle, Alfons, die Fünf, Orange Blue, Norman Keil, 3 Miles to Essex, John Flemming Olson, Ingo Oschmann, Jean Jacques Kravetz, Nadia Kossinskaja, Ernst Mantel, and "special guests".
Tickets for the charity gala will go on sale starting Saturday, November 4, 2023. A ticket for all three festival days costs 149 euros and includes a VIP ticket with "Meet and Greet" on August 2. The pure VIP ticket for the Meet & Greet event on August 2 in the CCP costs 89 euros (including snacks and drinks). For wheelchair users, disabled persons with a disability of 60% or more, and holders of the Pforzheim Pass, the discounted day price of 39 euros applies in advance sales. Tickets can be purchased at the Kulturhaus Osterfeld ticket office.
