Food Network personality, Anne Burrell, passes away at the age of 55, and the manner of her demise is disclosed.

In a sad turn of events, the food industry and millions of fans worldwide are mourning the loss of Anne Burrell, a celebrated chef and Food Network star. Burrell, known for her platinum blonde hairdo and fiery but joyful disposition, passed away on June 17 at the age of 55.

Burrell made her debut on Food Network's "Iron Chef America" in 2005, and her popularity soared from there. She became a mainstay on the network, hosting shows such as "Secrets of a Restaurant Chef" and most famously "Worst Cooks in America."

"Secrets of a Restaurant Chef" aired for nine seasons from 2008 to 2012, earning a pair of Daytime Emmy nominations. As the face of "Worst Cooks in America," Burrell co-hosted the series with various celebrities like Beau MacMillan, Robert Irvine, Bobby Flay, and Tyler Florence.

The Food Network released a statement expressing their condolences, stating that Burrell was a remarkable person and culinary talent. The statement also expressed their thoughts being with Burrell's family, friends, and fans during this time of tremendous loss.

Burrell is survived by her sister Jane, her mother Marlene, and Stuart Claxton's son, Javier. It is reported that Burrell's husband at the time of her death is not publicly known. However, it is known that she married Stuart Claxton in 2021.
