Matthieu Pavon and Antoine Rozner's PGA Tour Challenges in the Fall Series

Matthieu Pavon, currently ranked 118th in the world, and Antoine Rozner, in 151st place on the PGA Tour, are gearing up for the Fall Series as they aim to secure their spots on the PGA Tour in 2026.

Pavon, who won the Farmers Insurance Open in January 2023, has another year of exemption on the PGA Tour due to his victory at Torrey Pines. However, he finds himself in 167th place on the PGA Tour this season. To avoid starting from scratch again, he cannot afford to repeat last year's performance.

His priority in the Fall Series is to prepare for the Sony Open in early January. His coach, Jamie Gough, will be instrumental in his preparations. Pavon, however, has expressed that he does not find playing in Europe as exciting, focusing his attention on the PGA Tour for the next ten years.

Pavon currently has no current qualifications for any Majors or Signature Events. In contrast, Rozner, who is 32nd in the FedEx ranking, needs "big results" in the Fall Series to keep his right to play on the PGA Tour in 2026.

The Fall Series offers five more tournaments on Pavon's calendar, serving as the final opportunities for players like him and Rozner to secure PGA Tour cards for the upcoming season. Winners of these fall events no longer earn automatic Masters invitations, with the focus shifted to earning FedExCup points to qualify for the season-ending Tour Championship and retain Tour status.

Meanwhile, Victor Perez, who finished 9th in the Canadian Open in 2023, has moved to the Bahamas with his family with the intention of prolonging his stay on the PGA Tour. The Fall Series also presents an opportunity for Perez to improve his standing.

The trio of Pavon, Perez, and Rozner are competing in the 107th Open de France. Pavon's performance at the French Open was +5, placing him 124th. As the Fall Series unfolds, it remains to be seen how these players will navigate the challenges and emerge stronger in their pursuit of success on the PGA Tour.
