FC Bayern Munich, the reigning German champions, have revealed an action-packed preseason schedule ahead of the 2025-2026 season. The Bavarian giants will kickstart their preparations at the end of July, with a training camp in Germany scheduled from the 20th to the 26th.

During this period, Bayern will participate in the Volkswagen Cup on the 20th, facing Dynamo Dresden at 3 PM and FSV Zwickau at 4 PM. The team will then play Magdeburg on the 26th at 3:30 PM.

Following the German training camp, Bayern will head to Austria for another training stint from the 26th of July to the 3rd of August. During this time, they will square off against Feyenoord on the 2nd of August at 4:30 PM.

In the first week of August, Bayern will return to Germany to take on Brighton in two matches on the 9th, at 12:30 PM and 6:30 PM. The following day, they will face Tottenham Hotspur in the Telekom Cup at the Allianz Arena, with the match set for 6:30 PM. After the Telekom Cup, Bayern will travel to Switzerland to take on Grasshopper Zurich on the 12th of August.

The German Supercup, named the "Franz-Beckenbauer-Supercup", is scheduled to take place on August 16 at 8:30 PM. The specific date for the 2025 DFL-Supercup is not yet confirmed, but it traditionally takes place in early August before the league starts. Bayern's first competitive fixture will be a DFB Cup match against Hemelingen on August 16 at 3:30 PM.

The Bundesliga season opener will see Bayern Munich hosting RB Leipzig at the Allianz Arena on August 22 at 8:30 PM (CEST), marking a high-profile season opener. The next Bundesliga match will be against Augsburg, away from home, on August 29.

Coach Vincent Kompany has emphasised the importance of giving the players a chance to recharge their batteries before the next season, and the busy preseason schedule is set to provide ample opportunities for the squad to gel and prepare for the challenges ahead.

The preseason schedule for FC Bayern Munich includes a participation in the European football scene, as they face Feyenoord in a friendly match on the 2nd of August in Austria. As the 2025-2026 season approaches, Bayern will also compete in the premier league, with their first match against RB Leipzig scheduled for August 22 at the Allianz Arena.
