Flyers lose Drysdale to injury ahead of Lightning showdown

The Philadelphia Flyers have placed defenseman Jamie Drysdale on injured reserve due to an upper-body injury sustained on January 6. With key players also sidelined, the team prepares to face the Tampa Bay Lightning tomorrow at Xfinity Mobile Arena. A replacement for Drysdale has yet to be officially confirmed.

Drysdale’s injury has left a gap in the Flyers’ defensive lineup. The team has recalled Adam Ginning from the Lehigh Valley Phantoms, though it remains unclear whether he will step in for tomorrow’s match. No official announcement has been made regarding updated defensive pairings.

The Flyers are also dealing with injuries to forwards Bobby Brink and Travis Konecny, both listed as day-to-day with upper-body issues. Despite these setbacks, the team is set to host the Lightning at 7:00 p.m. at Xfinity Mobile Arena.

The Flyers enter the game with uncertainty in their defensive roster. Ginning’s recall provides an option, but the team has not confirmed any changes. Fans will have to wait for official updates before puck drop.
