Flowers presented to Guard Niemczycki: Lilies
Karol Niemczycki is no longer with Darmstadt, as he's been officially sold to FC Ashdod after his loan spell there, sealing his departure from the team. Darmstadt's sports director, Paul Fernie, stated that this loan was a smart move for every party involved, giving Niemczycki the chance to gain abundant playtime elsewhere and potentially return to Darmstadt in the summer prepared and experienced.
Niemczycki joined Darmstadt's first team from Düsseldorf in the summer of 2024, making his debut in the opening match of the DFB-Pokal against FC Teutonia. However, his playing time seems to have been minimal during his time there, as Fernie also hinted that the loan was due to this issue. The loan period with FC Ashdod provided the left-footed player valuable playing opportunities that were hard to come by at Darmstadt.
It's worth mentioning that FC Ashdod's acquisition of Niemczycki marks the end of his tenure at Darmstadt. This move allows Niemczycki to further his career with more playing time and growth at FC Ashdod, rather than continuing as a rarely-used player at Darmstadt.
Niemczycki's departure from Darmstadt signifies a new chapter in his career, as he joins FC Ashdod in pursuit of increased playing time and growth. His departure from Darmstadt, however, doesn't mean an end to his European football journey, as he now aims to make an impact in Israel's top-tier league and potentially earn a spot in European-leagues Football.
