Florence Welch joins Taylor Swift’s Disney+ series after *Eras Tour* magic

Florence Welch will soon feature in the second episode of Taylor Swift’s new Disney+ discussion series, The Eras Tour: A Conversation. The singer previously joined Swift on stage during the final night of the record-breaking Eras Tour, calling the experience both thrilling and overwhelming.

Welch also appeared in Swift’s recent docuseries, Taylor Swift: The End Of An Era, which premiered on December 12 and documents the tour’s massive success.

The Eras Tour ran for 149 dates, starting in March 2023 and wrapping up in December 2023. It became the highest-grossing tour in history, earning over $2 billion in ticket sales alone.

In August 2024, Welch made a surprise appearance at Wembley Stadium in London, performing Florida!! alongside Swift. She later described the moment as 'terrifying' and compared it to 'landing on Mars' due to the sheer scale of the production. The unfamiliar stage setup, including a lift she had never used before, added to her nerves.

Before the performance, Welch rehearsed with Swift and her dancers. She admitted feeling disoriented seeing Swift in her professional environment, saying: 'You see this cultural moment from the outside, and I suddenly was inside of it.'

Welch’s appearance in The Eras Tour: A Conversation follows her involvement in both the live show and the docuseries. The series offers fans a deeper look at the tour’s behind-the-scenes moments, including collaborations with artists like Welch. Her participation highlights the tour’s impact beyond Swift’s own performances.
