Flood victims in Baykal area yet to receive promised payouts
In a recent meeting held at the city administration, the ongoing issue of unpaid flood relief for three residents of Chita was discussed. These residents, who are victims of the flood that occurred in mid-July, are entitled to a total of 468,000 rubles (156,000 rubles each).
Despite the ongoing compensation process, these three residents from Chita have yet to receive their payments. All other residents of Chita, either have been recognized as victims and received their payments or have been denied compensation for various reasons.
Payments to flood victims continue in Chita, but the cause for the delay in these specific cases remains unclear. Typical reasons for such delays can include administrative errors, lack of required documentation by the victims, logistical issues in payment distribution, or bureaucratic delays within the responsible authorities. However, without explicit details tied to the Chita flood victims, it is not possible to determine the exact cause.
It is advisable to consult local government announcements or news reports directly addressing the compensation status in Chita for more precise information. Meanwhile, temporary dams are being built in the Dacha Non-Profit Association "Shishkino-Ostrov" in Chita, as the city continues its efforts to recover from the flood.
