Russian Airlines Resume Flights Over Middle East

Buckle up, Flying with Russian carriers is back in full swing over Iraq, Iran, and Jordan! Roaviation, Russia's air transport agency, has officially lifted the ban on flights in these countries' airspace.

The green light came after a spell of tranquility brought about by a U.S.-led ceasefire in the ongoing tussle between Iran and Israel. We've been keeping a close eye on the situation, and rest assured, we'll keep you updated if anything changes, asserts Roaviation's press service.

This news is music to the ears, especially after the restrictions were introduced on June 13 when Israel unleashed a military offensive against Iran, focusing on its nuclear and military facilities. The mission's primary objective was to curb Iran's ambitions of building a nuclear weapon, as asserted by Israeli authorities.

Fast forward to today, and flights to Qatar were permitted way back on June 25, and to airports in Israel with a time window of 07:00 to 01:00 Moscow time. However, things are looking much brighter now, as tensions seem to be subsiding.

While it's great to hit the skies once more, it's worth noting that Roaviation is closely monitoring the air transport situation in the Middle East. So, stay tuned for any updates that might arise.

As for the future, Aeroflot has announced it'll recommence ticket sales for flights to Tehran, Iran, with services resuming from July 4. Other carriers, like Air Arabia, are also following suit, with tickets now available for routes between Russia and Iran.

All in all, thanks to the ceasefire and the improving security conditions, Roaviation has decided to lift the restrictions on flights over Iraq, Iran, and Jordan. So, grab your passport and pack your bags - it's travel time!
