Flames Foundation donates $6.6M to transform Southern Alberta communities
The Flames Foundation has published its 2024-25 Impact Report. The document highlights a major donation of over $6.6 million to charities and programmes across Southern Alberta. Funding came from the Markin Family Foundation, supporting key community initiatives.
The donations covered four main areas: health and wellness, grassroots sports, education, and the CSEC Inclusion Program. Each sector received financial support to strengthen local services and opportunities.
The funding will directly benefit Southern Alberta communities through targeted programmes. Organisations involved can now move forward with improved resources and expanded services. The report confirms the Flames Foundation’s ongoing commitment to regional development.
