Flames Foundation donates $6.6M to transform Southern Alberta communities
The Flames Foundation has published its 2024-25 Impact Report. The document highlights a major donation of over $6.6 million to charities and programmes across Southern Alberta. Funding came from the Markin Family Foundation, supporting key community initiatives.
The donations covered four main areas: health and wellness, grassroots sports, education, and the CSEC Inclusion Program. Each sector received financial support to strengthen local services and opportunities.
