Flames eye strong finish on road trip with Cooley and Frost leading the way

The Calgary Flames are set to face the Nashville Predators in their final road game before returning home. A victory would secure them seven points out of a possible ten on their current trip. Meanwhile, goalie Devin Cooley prepares for his fifth start in seven games, backed by strong recent performances.

Morgan Frost has been a standout in the face-off circle this season. His 55.9% win rate in November included a 65% success rate in the defensive zone. Coach Ryan Huska highlighted Frost and other centermen for their sharper focus on puck drops, lifting the Flames’ overall face-off ranking.

A win over Nashville would cap a productive road trip for Calgary. With Cooley’s strong form and Frost’s face-off improvements, the Flames enter December on firmer footing. Their upcoming homestand offers a chance to build consistency before the midseason push.
