The Minski at Schauburg cinema is set to present an exciting lineup of films for the month of October, with a new movie screening every Wednesday at 8 pm. This month's program, in partnership with the city youth office, the adult education center, and the film theater operator Weiler, promises to captivate audiences with a mix of drama, comedy, and adventure.

Kicking off the month is the award-winning film 'Look into the Sun,' a thought-provoking drama by Mascha Schilinski. This two-and-a-half-hour-long film tells the story of four young women mysteriously connected, directed by a German director. 'Look into the Sun' will be shown on October 1st at the Minski.

On October 8th, the political satire 'The Protected Man' takes centre stage. This film explores a pandemic that affects only men, leading to a radical shift in power after the Chancellor succumbs to the disease. After a temporary takeover by a radical feminist party, the story unfolds in a captivating manner.

For those seeking a touch of comedy, the French film 'Six of a Kind - Luck is for Beginners' concludes the month's program on October 29th. This film revolves around a two-month-old lottery ticket and a dramatic story that is sure to leave audiences laughing.

In between these highlights, the Minski offers a selection of other intriguing films. On October 15th, catch 'The Life of Chuck,' a film that defies normal storytelling rules by starting with the end. The story unfolds as nature seems to be rebelling against humanity worldwide, with hope coming from strange billboards praising a certain Charles 'Chuck' Krantz.

On October 22nd, 'The Salt Path' will be shown. This film follows Raynor and Moth, who, after losing their farm due to debt, decide to walk over 1000 kilometers along the English coast together. Their journey is intended to permanently change their relationship.

Tickets for the 'Wednesday Cinema' can be purchased online or at the box office. The location for these screenings is Schauburg cinema, Heddesdorfer Straße 84. Don't miss out on these engaging films at the Minski this October!
