Five contenders for the position of OB in Bühl vying for the post

In the coming weeks, four large district towns in Germany will hold mayoral elections, marking a significant change in leadership for these communities. Here's a snapshot of the candidates running in each town, based on the available information.

First on our list is Zwetschgenstadt Buhl, located in the district of Rastatt. The current mayor, Hubert Schnurr (independent), is retiring after 14 years in office. Five candidates will be on the ballot, with the application deadline having passed. Among them is Milutin Stanisavljevic, a philosopher, political scientist, and entrepreneur born in Belgrade in 1986. Milutin, who feels at home in Buhl, has announced his intention to run for the top position in the town hall.

Another new candidate in the Zwetschgenstadt Buhl mayoral elections is Thomas Senski, a 52-year-old high school teacher. Thomas teaches biology and sports at the Buhler Windeck-Gymnasium. It's worth noting that Frank Tschany, who has run for mayor several times before, is also on the list. Despite previous unsuccessful bids, Frank remains determined and is a contender this time around.

The second candidate on the list is Frank Tschany, self-employed in the cleaning sector. Sven Burkart, an object manager for a company that produces building materials, is in third place. Sven aims for a generational change in the city.

In Horb (district of Freudenstadt), a successor to Peter Rosenberger (CDU) is being sought, as he is also retiring. In Bruchsal (district of Karlsruhe), five candidates are running to succeed Cornelia Petzold-Schick (Greens), who is not running again.

Elsewhere, Matthias Bauernfeind (CDU) is at the top of the list of candidates in Giengen an der Brenz (district of Heidenheim), with Dieter Henle (independent) running for a second term as mayor on July 20.

Lastly, Thilo Michler (independent) is running for another term as the mayor of Öhringen (Hohenlohekreis).
