Why Dübel Manufacturer Fischer is Now in Saudi Arabia - Fischer Expands Into Saudi Arabia With New Subsidiary for Mega-Projects

Fischer, a global leader in fixation technology, has opened a new subsidiary in Saudi Arabia. The move comes as the company expands its presence in one of the world's fastest-growing construction markets. With operations now in Riyadh and three other cities, Fischer is positioning itself for major infrastructure projects across the kingdom.

The new Saudi subsidiary marks Fischer's 51st worldwide location. Based in Riyadh, it includes additional offices and a production facility in Dammam. This expansion follows the company's steady growth, with revenue rising by 1% to €1.11 billion in 2024.

Fischer is already involved in two of Saudi Arabia's most ambitious developments. The company supplies fire protection solutions for the new Riyadh International Airport. It is also contributing to the Jeddah Tower, set to become the world's tallest building at over one kilometre high.

In October 2025, Fischer hosted its fourth International Expert Forum in Riyadh. The event came shortly after the subsidiary's official launch earlier that year. Saudi Arabia's large population, vast territory, and ongoing economic transformation make it a strategic market for the company.

Globally, Fischer operates in around 120 countries and employs roughly 4,700 people. Its existing subsidiaries span Brazil, Japan, the U.S., the UAE, and Vietnam, among others.

The Saudi subsidiary strengthens Fischer's ability to support major construction projects in the region. With a local production site and multiple offices, the company is now better placed to meet demand in a rapidly evolving market. This expansion aligns with Saudi Arabia's push for large-scale infrastructure development.
