On Sunday, thunderstorms are expected in the Franconian Jura and south and southeast of it during the day. Locally heavy rain amounts of up to 30 liters per square meter are not ruled out in this area, and small hail is possible. Thunderstorms are dominating the weekend in large parts of Bavaria. Showery conditions are expected to continue, with rain moving from Franconia to the south during the day on Tuesday. On Monday, a rain area is expected to move from northwest to southeast, transitioning to scattered cumulus clouds with some sunshine in the afternoon.
