Firefighters from Tönnhausen once more win the Wanderpokal tournament trophy of their circle
In a thrilling display of skill and teamwork, the Fire Department Toennhausen emerged victorious at the recent county fire department competition held during the district fire department day this weekend. The department, renowned for its speed, security, and consistency, clinched the top spot for the second consecutive year.
The competition, which saw the participation of 38 groups, was a tough one. However, Fire Department Toennhausen demonstrated their competence, achieving results of over 99% and finishing in the 34th place. Remarkably, they were the fastest among all the groups.
The department's victory was even more significant given that they had only just qualified for the competition in the preliminary round. Their success is a testament to their rigorous training and outstanding teamwork.
Nine groups in the competition managed to complete all three modules with a 100% target achievement. Alongside Fire Department Toennhausen, other qualifiers for the district final next year include Laßrönne 2, Schwinde-Stove, Rottorf, and Hunden.
The bronze performance badge was awarded to groups Winsen 2, Sahrendorf/Schätzendorf, Vierhöfen, and Salzhausen 2.
Last year, Fire Department Toennhausen secured the county champion's traveling trophy for themselves. The department's members, known for their fast and secure performance, have once again proven their mettle in this year's competition.
