Firefighters from Kangalas triumphantly secured the top spot at the Spartiak competition
Yakutia's Spartakiada of Fire-Fighting Units: Hangalas Team Emerges Victorious
The Spartakiada of fire-fighting units, held in the Amga ulus, was a three-day regional event that brought together teams from various districts of Yakutia. The competition aimed to enhance the professional training, physical fitness, and teamwork of fire-fighting personnel.
The event included ten stages, featuring obstacle courses, equipment handling, timed drills simulating fire scenarios, and athletic events. Among the activities were trials among gas mask service teams, a relay race, deployment and laying a five-nozzle main line, and securing a rescue rope to a structure, a ladder assault, and installing and climbing a three-section extension ladder.
Over 100 participants from seven uluses and Yakutsk took part in the Spartakiada. The team standings saw the firefighters from the Hangalas ulus emerge victorious, followed by the Ust-Aldan ulus team in second place, and the Tatatin ulus team in third.
The Hangalas ulus team's victory was not only a testament to their strong teamwork and technical skill but also their endurance. As a reward for their success, they were presented with a certificate worth 50,000 rubles, which can be used for purchasing goods from a technical store to further develop their capabilities.
This certificate serves as a financial incentive to maintain high standards of professionalism and readiness among teams, ultimately enhancing the overall safety and emergency response capability in Yakutia.
