In an unexpected turn of events, notable Nigerian social media figure, Martins Vincent Otse, famously known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has found himself behind bars, confirmed by his legal eagle, Deji Adeyanju, late on a Friday evening.

Adeyanju, in a candid Facebook post, revealed that this legal tussle ensued after VDM boldly called out GTBank over suspect transactions from his mother's account.

Delving further into the matter, Adeyanju spilled more beans in a subsequent post. He divulged that a team of lawyers from his firm, steered by Marvin Omorogbe, had a face-off with one of VDM's mates, also nabbed during the raid.

"VDM flatly refused to step out of the cell; he wouldn't budge for a meet. VDM was holed up inside the GTB exit door for over five grueling minutes, allowing EFCC operatives to slide in and snatch both him and his companion," Adeyanju asserted.

Adeyanju further vented his disappointment, vowing to serve GTBank with a legal headache, claiming their treatment of VDM to be savage.

"We're gearing up to take legal action against GTB for the barbaric treatment meted out to our client," Adeyanju stated.

As per our website's scoop, this arrest followed hot on the heels of rumors that VeryDarkMan had been apprehended by the Nigerian police in Abuja.
