Financial competition welcomes 10,000 euros in prize money
In July 2022, Regensburg, Germany, played host to the fourth edition of the Keilberger Inclusion Tournament, a sports event promoting inclusivity and sports participation. Over 120 children and young people, both with and without disabilities, showcased their football skills across ten teams.
The event, held under the motto "Sport connects", managed to raise a total of €10,000 in donations. Christian Höpfinger and Markus Hofstetter, the department heads, were the recipients of these donations.
The collected funds were split equally between two charities: the Regensburger Christmas Singing and the Kinderzentrum St. Martin. Unfortunately, the names of the two department heads who distributed the donations are not publicly available.
The Regensburger Christmas Singing is a cherished tradition in the city, while the Kinderzentrum St. Martin offers support to children and young people with disabilities. The donations from the Keilberger Inclusion Tournament will undoubtedly make a significant difference in the lives of those they aim to help.
The Keilberger Inclusion Tournament has become an annual event in Regensburg, fostering a sense of community and promoting the inclusion of all children and young people in sports. As the tournament continues to grow, so too does its impact on the local community and beyond.
