GNTM 2025: A Ride Through Memories

The remaining models reflect on their journeys in the show and revisit the videos they submitted during auditions. Emotions surge as they recall personal stories, such as Jannik facing bullying for his love of hip-hop, Magdalena's school-year torment, and Canel's heartbreaking loss of her drug-addicted father.

The next challenge is the season's final photoshoot. The theme? "Harper's Bazaar" magazine covers. The poolside shoot demands casual elegance as the models strut their stuff in designer clothes next to a classic blue convertible.

Moritz dazzles Heidi Klum, who praises his natural talent. Jannik and Pierre impress Kerstin Schneider, with the latter leaving her speechless. Zoe and Magdalena shine among the women, despite Magdalena's struggle with sudden rain. Canel struggles to find the right poses, and Eliob receives criticism for his lack of facial expression. Daniela battles with unsteady hands.

A Week of Shopping Frenzy

The reality show transforms into a shopping spree: Contestants are given 500 euros each to buy outfits. Heidi Klum provides a budget of 1500 dollars for pairs, sending them shopping in twos. The duos must put together two outfits-one for daytime and one for evening-within two hours. Canel revels in her newfound wealth,)"I felt like a rich broad," she exclaims. Pierre, however, grumbles,"I frickin' hate shopping trips." In the store, Pierre is overwhelmed, struggling to find clothes that fit and make decisions. Eliob, on the other hand, acquires too many items. Realizing he doesn't have enough cash at the checkout, he returns a shirt and shoes.

The Guest Oracle

The model finalist will receive a solo cover for "Harper's Bazaar" magazine, following in the footsteps of previous winners. Since 2018, winners have graced the cover of "Harper's Bazaar" after appearing on "Cosmopolitan." Jermaine Kokou Kothe, the first man to win "Germany's Next Topmodel," saw success on the cover. Kerstin Schneider, the magazine's editor-in-chief, aims to replicate that success by evaluating the contestants' performances in both the photoshoot and the fashion show, where they model their purchased outfits.

First up are the women. Zoe dons a leopard print top and jeans. "That reminds me of my youth," quips Klum. She compares Magdalena's look—hoodie and miniskirt—to an outfit her daughter Lou wore to school that day. "Today's Lou!" Klum exclaims. Canel's ensemble—denim skirt and pink top—falls flat with Klum. "The look's too pedestrian; she looks like she's heading to the grocery store," Klum bemoans.

Moritz impresses the jury among the men. Jannik receives criticism for his all-black suit with a bow tie but no shirt. "Too stripper-ish," Klum remarks. Pierre and Eliob also disappoint with their attire, both appearing sans shirts and in ill-fitting suits. Eliob's bare feet are a sore point due to running out of money for new shoes during shopping.

The Cut and the Uncut

Canel and Eliob miss out on the finale. Klum explains Canel's elimination by stating, "Canel didn't always convince during the shoots." Eliob is cut because he failed to secure a single job. Despite her elimination, Canel remained resolute: "I'm grateful for everything. I won't give up; I'll conquer the runways of the world." Eliob also expresses thanks for the experiences he's had. The six finalists for the GNTM finale, set to be held live in Cologne on June 19, 2025, are: Zoe, Magdalena, Daniela, Moritz, Pierre, and Jannik.

Klum's Quip of the Week

"Heidi's husband at our wedding," Klum quips, comparing Jannik's photoshoot look to her spouse.
