Final Fantasy XIV's Moogle Treasure Trove returns with rare rewards and challenges
The Moogle Treasure Trove event has returned to Final Fantasy XIV, bringing back a popular way to earn rare rewards. Running until April 28, the event lets players collect Irregular Tomestones of Aphorism through various challenges. These can then be traded for exclusive items, mounts, and more. To take part, players must first speak with the Itinerant Moogle in Limsa Lominsa, Gridania, or Ul'dah. The moogle provides the Mogpendium, a book listing all available objectives. This year's theme, Hunt for Aphorism, revives rewards from past events, including mounts like the Pavo Pomum and minions such as the Wind-up Moogle.
The Mogpendium splits challenges into four categories: Standard Objectives, Weekly Objectives, Minimog Challenges, and Ultimog Challenges. Standard tasks automatically deposit tomestones into the player's inventory, while others require manual collection from the Mogpendium itself. Completing raids, deep dungeons, or even fishing can earn participants the coveted tomestones. Once gathered, these tokens can be exchanged with the Itinerant Moogle for a range of rewards. Options include mounts from old extreme trials, Triple Triad cards, and glamour sets. The event also reintroduces items like Aphorism of Dawn and Aphorism of Dusk, previously obtainable through Mhachi Matter exchanges.
The Moogle Treasure Trove will conclude with the release of patch 7.5 on April 28. Until then, players have multiple ways to earn tomestones and secure rare items. Rewards can be claimed directly from the Itinerant Moogle in any of the three main cities.
