Final Brawl at Elbu River Movie Nights: ComedySlam Royal X's Grand Finale
On the picturesque banks of the Elbe River, an exciting anniversary event is set to take place. On July 31st, the ComedySlam Royal X - The Final Fight will light up the Elbe riverbank film nights, marking a significant milestone - the 10-year anniversary of one of Germany's largest poetry slam events.
Organisers have set a goal to provide between 100 to 200 tickets through ticket sponsorships from Dresden companies or private individuals. In addition, a quota of tickets will be reserved for families with low incomes, made available through Kulturloge.
Thomas Jurisch, the event's initiator and moderator, has overseen more than 23,500 guests who have visited the final rounds of ComedySlam Royal over the years. Some of these artists have since established themselves professionally in the comedy scene, and the audience for the event has grown to include some who bring their children.
Ten winners of the last decade are participating in the final event. Slam artists from various locations across Germany, including Frankfurt am Main, Bremen, Tübingen, Regensburg, Koblenz, Helmstedt, Görlitz, Bretten, and Berlin, are among the participants.
The event promises to be a thrilling spectacle, with admission starting at 7 pm, the show commencing at 8 pm, and an approximate duration of three hours. Tickets cost 25 euros in advance and 30 euros at the box office.
