Filming for season 2 of Landman's Ali Larter project has come to an end.

The much-anticipated second season of Taylor Sheridan's gritty drama series, Landman, is set to premiere on Paramount+ on November 16, 2025. The show, which was renewed for a second season in March 2025, has been shrouded in secrecy regarding plot and cast details ahead of its premiere.

Filming for the second season began in August as planned, with the cast and crew putting in a considerable amount of time, effort, love, laughter, and dedication to make the show special. The series, inspired by the world of West Texas oil drilling, centres on the lives of characters played by Billy Bob Thornton, Ali Larter, Michelle Randolph, and Jacob Lofland.

Thornton's character, Norris, is joined by his family, including Larter's Angela, their daughter Aynsley (played by Michelle Randolph), and son Cooper (Jacob Lofland). The series involves a network of billionaires, drug cartels, lawyers, and roughnecks, promising a gripping narrative.

Star Ali Larter, who plays the mercurial wife of Billy Bob Thornton's character on Landman, recently took to Instagram to announce that filming for the second season has wrapped. Larter shared photos from the wrapping ceremony, expressing her gratitude for being part of the series and her excitement about sharing the new season with viewers.

The second season of Landman is expected to be as special as the first, given the dedication and effort put into its production. Taylor Sheridan's Fall is approaching, with multiple Sheridan-verse shows set to return before the end of 2025. The premiere date for Landman's second season has been pushed back from November to an undisclosed date.

The freelance writer and Town & Country contributor, Lauren Hubbard, covers the series in her work, focusing on beauty, shopping, entertainment, travel, home decor, wine, and cocktails. As we wait for the premiere, fans can look forward to an "incredible cast and crew" playing at the top of their game, promising a thrilling ride into the world of West Texas oil drilling.
