Michael "Bully" Herbig's much-anticipated Western parody, "The Canoe of Manitu," had its world premiere in Munich, promising a rollercoaster ride of laughter, action, and adventure.

At the heart of the film are Abahachi (played by Michael "Bully" Herbig) and his white blood brother Ranger (Christian Tramitz). They continue their journey through the Wild West, this time tasked with maintaining peace and justice while facing a new, formidable gang. The plot unfolds as Abahachi and Ranger are lured into a trap, with the gang aiming to steal the legendary "Canoe of Manitou," a canoe with special powers.

Their rescue comes at the last minute, courtesy of their loyal companion, Dimitri the Greek (Rick Kavanian), and his new employee, Mary (Jasmin Schwiers). This rescue sets the stage for a new adventure, as the heroes delve deeper into the mystery behind the canoe.

The film's cast includes a host of stars, including Friedrich Mücke, Jessica Schwarz, and Sky DuMont, among others. It was filmed in various locations, including Munich, Almeria, Valencia, and Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Abahachi (Herbig) and Ranger (Tramitz) are joined by a diverse ensemble of characters. Dimitri, the Greek tavern owner, has expanded his business in "The Canoe of Manitu." Newcomer Mary adds a fresh dynamic to the group.

The film is a delightful blend of humor and action, with dance numbers, songs by Stefan Raab and Herbig, and several film quotes. It pays homage to Westerns based on Karl May's novels from the 1960s, surprise appearances, references to "Indiana Jones," and works of French filmmaker Louis de Funès.

American actor Alan Tafoya, who plays a Jicarilla Apache from the Red Side Plains People, adds an emotional moment at the end of the film. Sky du Mont, who played the villain Santa Maria in the first film, undergoes a miraculous resurrection in "The Canoe of Manitu," having sunk in a swamp at the end of "The Boot of Manitu."

After the premiere, there were emotional goodbyes, with director Michael Herbig shedding tears for Sky du Mont, who announced his retirement from acting at the event. "The Canoe of Manitu" hits theaters on Thursday, promising a thrilling continuation of the Manitu saga.

In "The Canoe of Manitu," entertainment enthusiasts can look forward to Abahachi (Herbig) and Ranger (Tramitz) navigating through a new adventure in the Wild West, facing a formidable gang and the theft of the legendary Canoe of Manitou. The film also offers a blend of humor, action, and dance numbers, making it an exciting addition to the movies-and-tv landscape.
