The ABFF Pop-Up Tour, a mobile cultural movement designed to bring the American Black Film Festival (ABFF) experience to communities with a strong Black arts and entertainment presence, is set to take place across four U.S. cities this fall.

Kicking off in October, the tour will start in New York City at AMC Lincoln Square from the 25th to the 26th. This event will feature award-winning independent film screenings, celebrity conversations, curated panels, and BOB Talks, a speaker series spotlighting Black-Owned Brands.

Following New York City, the tour will move to Atlanta, where it will be held at AMC Madison Yards from the 8th to the 9th of November. The tour will then continue to Dallas, where it will be held at AMC NorthPark from the 15th to the 16th of November.

The final tour stop will be in Los Angeles at AMC The Grove from the 13th to the 14th of December.

This expansion is part of a new national initiative called the ABFF Pop Up Tour, which aims to create new spaces to discover talent, celebrate creativity, and unite through the power of film and shared culture.

Ally Financial is a supporter of the ABFF Pop Up Tour, and Erica Hughes, senior director of Ally Marketing, stated that Ally honours the talent and creativity showcased at the tour. Jeff Friday, ABFF Cofounder and CEO of Nice Crowd, stated that the ABFF Pop Up Tour is a natural evolution of the festival's mission to showcase and elevate Black storytelling.

Ally's mission includes elevating the voices, sharing the experiences, and celebrating the unique gifts of Black and brown creators and artists. The tour is expected to be a significant event in the celebration of Black storytelling as the festival approaches its milestone anniversary in 2026.
