🇵🇭 It's Time to Vote, Filipinos in Kuwait! 🇰🇼
Hey there, fellow kababayan! The Philippine Embassy in Kuwait is shouting from the rooftops that the 2025 Philippine National Elections are happening, and we need you to join the democratic dance! 🎉
Here's what you gotta know:
- The online voting party starts April 13 and ends May 12, 2025. (Yes, that's right, no more waiting in long, sweaty lines!)
- As of the last count on December 31, 2024, there were about 223,482 of us callalão residing in Kuwait. Out of that crowd, 36,046 brave souls have signed up to shake things up in Manila! 🇵🇭💥
- But first, you need to get enrolled before you can join the surprise party. No worries, though – you can do it online, and the enrollment deadline is May 7, 2025. Remember to have your passport handy, because you'll need to snap a selfie with it during the sign-up process. 📸
- Don't worry if you hit a roadblock or two during enrollment. Just give the Embassy a ring or drop by the Enrollment and Voting Assistance Desk during their expanded hours from May 1 to May 6, or on the final day of enrollment, May 7, until 2:00 pm. (They're open Fridays and Saturdays, too!) 📞
- If you catch yourself saying, "Hold up, I don't know what I'm doing," fear not! Ambassador Jose A. Cabrera III – our very own superhero – emphasized the convenience of online voting, especially for Filipinos with jam-packed schedules or those living far from the Embassy. He even shared his own mobile-voting story! 📱
- "With online voting, you can enroll and cast your ballots anytime, day or night!" said the Ambassador, highlighting the flexibility that this modern method offers. "If you face any difficulties during enrollment or voting, don't hesitate to reach out to the Embassy for assistance." 🤝
- But remember, even though the voting party is going on until May 12, the enrollment process ends earlier, on May 7. So, make sure to get your butt enrolled early and avoid the last-minute rush! ⏰
Set the stage for our nation's future, Ate! Let's show the world how united and forward-thinking the Philippines can be by voting online! Join the party and exercise your hard-earned right to choose the leaders who will guide our beautiful country to even greater heights! Viva Philippine democracy! 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭
