Fifteen-year-old girl, reported missing, discovered deceased inside singer D4vd's seized Tesla, according to officials.
In a shocking turn of events, the remains of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas, who went missing in Riverside County in 2024, have been identified as those found in the trunk of R&B singer D4vd's Tesla.
The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office announced the identification on Wednesday. The girl's body was found severely decomposed in the vehicle at Hollywood Tow on Sept. 8.
Celeste Rivas' mother confirmed that her daughter had a boyfriend named David and identified her through distinctive details like a 'Shhh...' tattoo on her right index finger. Interestingly, recent photos of D4vd show a similar tattoo on his right index finger.
D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke and is registered to the Tesla, has not yet responded to requests for comment. Authorities have not confirmed if there was any prior contact between Burke and Rivas.
Burke, who was raised in Houston, Texas, has collaborated with several notable musicians, including Kali Uchis, Stray Kids' Hyunjin, Laufey, and 21 Savage. He is currently scheduled to perform at the Greek Theatre on Saturday and has a sold-out show at the Grammy Museum on Sept. 24. However, a performance scheduled for Wednesday was canceled.
The body of Celeste Rivas was found wearing a tube top, small black leggings, wavy black hair, a metal stud earring, and a yellow metal chain bracelet. The death of the teenage girl is being treated as a homicide, but the cause of death has not yet been released.
Another body was found in a Honda at a different tow yard, but no further information about this case has been made public.
