In a thrilling match, Inter Miami FC triumphed over the Seattle Seahawks, securing a 3-1 victory. The game, played with high intensity and skill, saw Lionel Messi score a goal for Miami, assisted by Jordi Alba, making the score 2-0 in favor of the home team.

The scoring began early in the first half when Ian Fray found the back of the net for Miami, followed by Messi's goal just before halftime. The second half saw more action, with Seattle's Osaze De Rosario having a shot hit the post in the 66th minute. However, the Seahawks managed to pull one back in the 69th, thanks to a goal from Obed Vargas, assisted by Jordan Morris.

The game was not without its dramatic moments. In the 28th minute, Messi's shot caromed off the post, and in the 76th, Stefan Frei made a key save on Messi's breakaway shot.

Both teams displayed impressive attacking prowess, with Miami holding an 8-6 edge on target shots. Goalkeepers Oscar Ustari for Inter Miami and Stefan Frei for Seattle Sounders both made five saves each, showcasing their exceptional skills between the posts.

Inter Miami's coach, Javier Mascherano, was present at the game, overseeing his team's impressive performance. The victory lifts Miami to a tie with Columbus Crew for the fifth-most points in the Eastern Conference, with 49 points each.

It's worth noting that Sam Surridge currently leads the team's goalscoring charts with 21 goals in MLS play, one more than Lionel Messi. The Argentine superstar's goal against the Sounders brings his total to 20 in MLS play.

This exciting victory for Inter Miami marks a significant turnaround from their previous encounter with Seattle, where they suffered a 3-0 defeat in the Leagues Cup final on August 31. The team will look to build on this momentum as they continue their journey in the MLS.
