Fictional Chip Hart Racing Team Prevails at Le Mans 2025, Bringing the Big Screen to the Race Track

In the world of motorsport, the Le Mans 24 Hours race is a prestigious event that attracts some of the best teams and drivers from around the globe. This year, the race witnessed an unusual but exciting participation - Chip Hart Racing, a fictional team from the upcoming movie, F1: The Movie.

Thirty years after a near-career-ending crash, Pitt's character, Sonny Hayes, returns to racing in the film. Chip Hart Racing, a team from the movie, participated in the Le Mans 24 Hours race via the Porsche customer team, Wright Motorsports. The team's LMGT3 car, driven by actor and racing driver Nathaniel 'Nate' Quinn, finished 34th overall, winning the LMGT3 class.

Manthey, a Porsche customer team, also participated in the race, running the 'Manthey 1st Phorm' #92 and 'Iron Dames' #85 GT3 R racers. Despite their efforts, they finished 10 places behind Chip Hart Racing in the LMGT3 class. Ferrari, the dominating force in this year's race, won for the third consecutive time, with the #83 Ferrari and #51 Ferrari finishing 1st and 3rd respectively.

The top 4 cars in the Hypercar class finished within 30 seconds of each other, indicating a closely fought battle. The #6 Porsche finished 2nd in the race. It's worth noting that the movie F1: The Movie does not appear to have any connection with the Le Mans 24 Hours race or the teams mentioned.

F1: The Movie, set to open worldwide on June 25 (June 26 for New Zealand), stars Brad Pitt alongside Damson Idris, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and Javier Bardem. The film was shot during real Grand Prix weekends and at last year's 24 Hours of Daytona, ensuring an authentic racing experience.

As a promotional stunt, Manthey ran the #90 car in Chip Hart Racing livery at the Le Mans 24 Hours race. A chance to win a double pass to see the movie is up for grabs for those who enter the contest, which can be found here.

In F1: The Movie, Sonny Hayes drives Chip Hart Racing to victory at the 24 hours of Daytona. Whether the film will replicate this success at the box office remains to be seen. But one thing is certain - the Le Mans 24 Hours race has once again provided a thrilling spectacle for motorsport fans around the world.
