The annual Ural Night of Music festival in Yekaterinburg transformed the city into a bustling concert zone, with over a hundred stages spread across parks, squares, bars, restaurants, theaters, and museums. This year's event, held on a rainy day, attracted a record-breaking 450,000 visitors, making the Yekaterinburg Arena one of the most crowded venues during the festival.

Despite the inclement weather, visitors maintained good spirits, eager to enjoy the music. The majority of attendees were young women and men aged 16-22, contributing to the high foot traffic that significantly impacted the organization and work of security checkpoint staff at venues such as the Yekaterinburg Arena.

To manage the large volumes of attendees passing through in a relatively short period, security staff at the Yekaterinburg Arena implemented several strategies. These included increased staffing and efficient crowd control protocols to prevent bottlenecks and ensure smooth entry, thorough security screening processes to maintain safety without causing excessive delays, and coordination with event organizers and local authorities to handle surges in foot traffic, especially during peak times.

Moreover, staff members were responsible for assessing if visitors were under the influence of alcohol or drugs, searching for prohibited items on the stadium premises, and explaining security checkpoint rules to visitors. Interestingly, only two visitors attempted to bring alcohol bottles onto the stadium premises, which were promptly confiscated.

Job vacancies for stadium staff at events like the Ural Night of Music are often advertised on the social network VKontakte. During a 4.5-hour shift, staff members had no time to take breaks due to the high foot traffic, and the lengthy queues were a common complaint at the stadium entrances. However, these measures were necessary to ensure everyone's safety, as demonstrated by the well-behaved behavior of the guests and the fact that only two incidents involving prohibited items were reported.

The Ural Night of Music festival featured popular artists like AK-47 and SQWOZ BAB, and the job of stadium staff primarily involved maintaining order and safety while ensuring a smooth flow of visitors. Despite the challenges, the event was a resounding success, with visitors queuing for hours under the rain to enter the stadium. The Yekaterinburg Arena, with its well-organized security measures, played a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of the festival-goers.

The Ural Night of Music festival offered a blend of lifestyle and entertainment, with music as the central attraction that drew a young and vibrant crowd. Despite the rain, guests maintained high spirits, turning the Yekaterinburg Arena into a lively hub especially for music enthusiasts.
