Festival Organizers Reveal Revised Performer List for Upcoming Event
The Collective Arts Festival returns to downtown Sheridan, Wyoming on Saturday, August 9, 2025, promising a day filled with art, music, and family-friendly activities. Hosted by the Bighorn Arts Collective, this year's festival takes place at Whitney Commons, located at 320 West Alger Street, Sheridan, WY 82801.
Starting at 12:30 PM, visitors can immerse themselves in a wide variety of performances, workshops, and activities. The Main Stage will feature live music from local acts such as the Little Bighorn Band (Jazz), Crown Summer & La Sirene featuring Emmet & James Craft, and the headlining act, Damn Tall Buildings [1][3][4][5].
For families, the designated Creation Station offers interactive children's activities, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for all ages. The Artisan Village will also be present, showcasing makers from across the region [2].
In addition to the Main Stage performances, visitors can participate in workshops led by renowned artists. Will Lopez of Sheridan will lead a ceramics workshop, while The Paint Post will host a paint-and-sip class (advance registration required) [6][7]. The festival is supported in part by a grant from the Wyoming Cultural Trust Fund and the Homer A. & Mildred S. Scott Foundation, with water bottles donated by Water Products & Solutions. Local food and drink purveyors, including Kona Ice, Colombian Guy Coffeevan, Pete's Za, Fatbacks Southern BBQ, and Last Chance, will be stationed at the festival, ensuring that attendees can enjoy a variety of delicious food and drinks throughout the day [2].
