Festival O Sol da Caparica draws near: recollect the artists set to perform
10th Edition of O Sol da Caparica Festival Kicks Off, Showcasing Lusophone Talent
Get ready for a musical extravaganza as the 10th edition of the O Sol da Caparica Festival is set to take place from August 14 to August 17, 2025. This year's event promises a diverse lineup of Portuguese and Lusophone artists, along with a new addition - the Digital Stage.
The festival will be held at the Costa da Caparica Urban Park, and gates will open at 16:00 on Thursday. Three types of tickets are available for entry, and for those planning to attend on Sunday, the gates for 'Children's Day' will open between 10:00 and 14:00.
The Sagres Stage will be the main attraction, featuring performances by Bia Caboz on August 15, Matias Damásio on the same day, Rich and Mendes, Lon3r Johny, and Richie Campbell on August 16, and Soraia Ramos and Da Weasel on August 17.
The Bandida Stage, on the other hand, will showcase acts like Mundo Segundo, Mariana Pereira, Miguel Luz, Miguel Carmona, Sertaneijinho, Curt Davis, and many more. The Digital Stage, a new addition to the festival, will feature Os Primos, Plágio, and Cubinho.
Over the four days, a total of 37 artists will perform on the Sagres Stage and the Bandida Stage, offering a mix of musical genres and styles. Highlights from the first day include Neyna, David Carreira, Julinho KSD, Dillaz, and Plutónio on the main stage.
This year's festival is expected to draw around 30,000 people per day, emphasizing Portuguese and Lusophone music. Notable acts include Wet Bed Gang, Skunk Anansie, GNR, Luís Trigacheiro, and Mizzy Miles, among others.
Os Primos will also perform on the Digital Stage on August 14 and 17, showcasing talents who have gained popularity online. The festival organisers aim to cater to the new generation who are attuned to new trends.
