Festival Grünewald reemerges once more!

Lace up your boots and prepare for a royal adventure as the XVI annual historical extravaganza, "Our Grunwald," gallops into the museum complex "Dudutki"! This year, from July 19 to July 20, you'll get a chance to time-travel to the medieval era and relive the glorious Middle Ages.

Once again, the land of "Dudutki" transforms into an epic battleground, playing host to this grand-scale military-historical event. So, fasten your seatbelts, history buffs, it's gonna be a wild ride!

Over 450 enthusiasts from international historical clubs will gather, ready to unleash their medieval warfare tactics and techniques. They'll be more than eager to blow your mind with an action-packed show.

War, knights, and tournaments — oh my!

The pièce de résistance? A reenactment of the legendary Battle of Grunwald in 1410! This pivotal battle shaped the fate of Europe, with the armies of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania and the Kingdom of Poland defeating the Teutonic Knights and putting an end to their two-century reign. Get ready to witness over 300 foot knights, heavily armored cavalry, and artillery in all their glory, battling it out to recreate this epic event.

The fun doesn't stop there, my friend! Expect to see "shield and sword" fights, halberdier and pike man tournaments, archery and crossbow competitions, and authentic combat demonstrations. Cheer as warriors show off their tactical prowess in castle sieges, bridge battles, and other mind-blowing maneuvers.

Oh, and did we mention that there's going to be a full-contact horseback knightly tournament? Yep, just like in the movies! A knightly battle where two warriors ride head-on, lances at the ready. It's a spectacle that's only pulled off in a handful of countries today.

Ye Olde Crafting Corner

A medieval event wouldn't be complete without some kick-ass crafts and weapons! Hundreds of skilled artisans will demonstrate their mad skills in blacksmithing, weapon smithing, jewelry making, metal casting, and other medieval technologies. Plus, workshops will be open for those who want to create their very own medieval masterpiece.

For those who want to immerse themselves completely in the medieval way of life, a range of interactive platforms await. You can participate in fencing master classes, visit a medieval torture chamber, or conquer a knight's obstacle course and "mountain games."

Dancing queens to the rescue!

Think Medieval Aid isn't your thing? No worries! You can brush up on your dance moves at the dance masterclass or test your skills at authentic board games. It’s all about getting your medieval groove on!

Music to your Ears

The musical part of the event promises to be nothing short of epic! The concert program, "Feast after the Battle," is set for July 19, with folk and rock bands performing on stage. The headliners are closely guarded secrets for now, so stay tuned for more details.
