The much-anticipated Tomorrowland Festival, one of the world's largest electronic music festivals, is taking place in Boom, Belgium, despite a recent fire incident on the main stage. The event, which spans approximately two weekends, offers a diverse array of electronic music performances on 15 stages, featuring a lineup of renowned artists such as Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte, and Swedish House Mafia.

Videos circulating online show exploding pyrotechnics before the fire, but the exact cause of the incident remains unknown. The public prosecutor's office in Antwerp is currently investigating the matter, yet no findings have been reported as of yet.

The affected stage will not be used during the festival weekends, but the organiser has announced that the event will proceed as planned. The festival is not limited to one main stage, ensuring that the music and entertainment continue uninterrupted for the estimated 180,000 visitors attending the event.

According to news agency AFP, the fire does not appear to have been deliberately set. Whether pyrotechnics were responsible for the fire is still under investigation.

The Tomorrowland Festival, held in the northern Belgian municipality, offers a wide range of performances, with around 600 acts scheduled throughout the event. Despite the recent incident, the festival continues to attract a large and enthusiastic crowd, showcasing the enduring appeal of electronic music and the festival's commitment to delivering an unforgettable experience.

Tomorrowland Festival, despite the disaster on the main stage, promises to continue as planned, with entertainment and music continuing uninterrupted across the festival grounds, including the electrofestival stages. On the second weekend, renowned artists like Martin Garrix, David Guetta, Armin van Buuren, Charlotte de Witte, and Swedish House Mafia will perform.
