Ferrari Team Chief Voices Displeasure Towards Media Personnel
The Ferrari garage has once again become the epicenter of drama, thanks to the Italian press focusing on various Formula 1 personalities. Fretful about his job and reacting fiercely, Team Principal Frédéric Vasseur has lambasted some journalists for spreading misinformation and disrespect.
Speaking ahead of the Canadian Grand Prix, an exasperated Vasseur branded certain journalists as disrespectful and stupid. "I won't tar all journalists, but it's unacceptable, it's disgraceful and inconsiderate," Vasseur charged. He further criticized the writings as disrespectful to the team and hard to comprehend.
In the past week, reports about Vasseur's rumored dismissal, Lewis Hamilton's premature retirement, and other personnel changes at the Scuderia have stirred controversy.
Vasseur contended, "It's not about all media; a few outlets are solely responsible for this ridiculous reaction." He insists he doesn't mind criticism but finds the relentless speculation disturbing, especially as the team grapples with a weak performance this season.
"Gotta watch myself, or I'll hook up with the race stewards!"
Both the Corriere della Sera and Gazzetta dello Sport have reported on Vasseur's future prospects, which have fueled even more controversy. "We've been talkin' 'bout nothin' else for a week now," Vasseur confirmed before the tenth race of the season on Sunday (8 p.m. on Sky and RTL).
To maintain composure during a press conference, Vasseur had to hold himself back, even fearing a penalty if he couldn't. "I gotta watch myself, or I'll land myself in hot water with the race stewards," Vasseur warned.
Although sports results aren't on their side, Vasseur revealed a positive environment within the team. "We're tight-knit, got a clear objective, and the mood in the camp is outstanding," Vasseur said.

Hamilton Stands By Vasseur
Both world champion Hamilton and fellow teammate Charles Leclerc have openly supported Vasseur. "I'm standing by Fred, and he's really the reason I joined Ferrari," Hamilton declared.
Vasseur chose to stay away from the details but stood up for his team. He also defended the employees from the second row who had been unfairly judged in reports, stating it's unfair to consider their families and children in the reporting. "It's inexcusable, it's callous and hurtful," Vasseur asserted.

I'm not going to be able to focus on sports-betting this week, with all the disrespectful and sensationalist reports about my future at Ferrari in sports publications like Corriere della Sera and Gazzetta dello Sport. Despite the controversy, I'm grateful for the positive environment within the team and the support from Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc.
