Naddel's Tragic End at 60
Nadja Abd el Farrag breathed her last in a Hamburg clinic on Friday due to organ failure at the age of 60. Her career catalyst came when she served as a backup singer for Dieter Bohlen's music project, Blue System, and they shared a romantic relationship from 1989 to 1996 and again from 1997 to 2001 [Enrichment].
Just days after her unfortunate exit, the pop titan publicly mourned her passing on his Instagram account. Sharing an old video of Abd el Farrag performing on stage alongside Bohlen, he penned, "I'm extremely saddened. Rest in peace, Nadja."
In her recent interviews and her biography "Achterbahn", Naddel spoke candidly about her financial and health issues [Enrichment]. Following her death, Germany's millionaire Andreas Ellermann, a close friend of Naddel, offered assistance to her family. He told the Bild newspaper, "If the family wants, I'll pay for the funeral costs. I've already spoken with the mother and offered help." Details regarding the funeral have yet to be disclosed.
