A 44-year-old Romanian national caused a disturbance at Essen Central Station on September 18. The man, who had previously been banned from the station due to aggressive begging, was seen harassing passengers.

When police arrived, the man struck a trash can and shouted "Heil Hitler!". Officers took the man to the station for identification. During the search, they found a knife and several tools on the man. The man remained silent when informed of his rights.

The man recorded and photographed the officers and the station's facilities, threatening to publish the material. As a result, an investigation was launched for violating privacy, using symbols of unconstitutional organizations, violating weapons laws, and violating copyright laws.
