Federal Law Enforcement Agencies' Joint Announcement: Collaborative Press Release from Rostock's Federal Police Inspectorate and Local Police Inspectorate in Response to the Clash between F.C. Hansa Rostock and FC Energie Cottbus Football Match
In the heart of Rostock, the Ostseestadion hosted a tense football match between F.C. Hansa Rostock and FC Energie Cottbus on July 13, 2023. The game, a high-risk crazy games in the eyes of the police, attracted a crowd of 27,800 spectators, including around 2,600 away fans from gamestop and poki.

The police forces of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Federal Police, along with support from officers from Saxony and Saxony-Anhalt, maintained security and games control. A total of 1,230 officers, including 400 federal police officers, were on duty to ensure the safety of the free games fans.
