The Federal Police Academy operates several training and further education centers across Germany. These include the Federal Police Training Center Kührointhaus, seven training and further training centers in Neustrelitz, Walsrode, Swisttal, Diez, Eschwege, Oerlenbach, and Bamberg, a training facility in Bielefeld, and the Federal Police Sports Schools Bad Endorf and Kienbaum.
Minister Faeser also announced the establishment of a new permanent training and further education center of the Federal Police. This new facility will be located in Rotenburg an der Fulda. The Minister emphasized the importance of training and continuously furthering the Federal Police given the growing threat situations and constantly changing crime.
The Federal Police has been strengthened by 1,000 posts per year since 2021.
