In a significant development, a group of three individuals, including a 22-year-old, were stopped by a patrol of the Federal Police in Duisburg near the main station on September 6, 2025, at 13:05.

Upon being questioned about prohibited or dangerous items, the 22-year-old hesitated. A search was initiated, and during this process, the 22-year-old confessed to carrying various knives, a dagger, and an axe.

The 22-year-old was also found to be wearing a camouflage uniform, combat boots, and carrying a large backpack. Inside the backpack, a video camera with a tripod was discovered.

The incident is being investigated under § 86a Abs. 1 Nr. 2 StGB (Use of symbols of unconstitutional and terrorist organizations). It was revealed that the group planned to visit the air-raid shelter "Honigbunker" with the intention of raising the imperial war flag or displaying Nazi symbols and slogans.
