Federal authorities have filed criminal charges against individuals for allegedly committing assault and battery
In an unexpected turn of events, a 30-year-old man from Sierra Leone was arrested on a regional express train from Berlin to Stralsund last Friday afternoon. The incident, which occurred in carriage 2 of the train at Pasewalk station, involved the suspect allegedly assaulting children, a woman, and a teacher.
Upon search, drug paraphernalia was found, and a drug test came back positive for opiates, amphetamines, methamphetamines, and THC. The suspect was subsequently taken to the Asklepios Clinic in Pasewalk for a blood test.
The suspect has an extensive criminal history, with three outstanding warrants: one from AG Greifswald for theft, one from STA Hamburg for theft, and one from LKR ALA V-G for asylum law violations.
