Federal law enforcement carried out an arrest warrant, confining a 24-year-old individual for a month, as instructed by BPOLI MD.

Federal authorities carried out an arrest warrant, imprisoning a 24-year-old individual for a period of 31 days, as per the orders of BPOLI MD.

In a recent development, a 24-year-old individual wanted by the public prosecutor's office in Bamberg was arrested for a theft that occurred at Halle (Saale) Central Station on July 22, 2025.

The incident took place at a drugstore within the station, and a patrol from the Federal Police was dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the officers served a warrant issued by the public prosecutor's office in Bamberg in February 2025, as the suspect had not paid the full amount of a fine previously imposed by the district court in Bamberg. The fine, amounting to 400 euros or 40 days' imprisonment, was issued in January 2023 for misuse of identity documents.

Upon encountering the suspect and witnesses, their details were recorded. After completing necessary procedures, the suspect was taken to a prison to serve the remaining 31 days of his sentence. The authority that issued the warrant has been informed about the execution of the warrant.

The theft at Halle Central Station remains under investigation by the Federal Police. For further questions regarding the incident, the Federal Police Inspectorate in Magdeburg can be contacted at telephone number +49 (0) 391-56549-505 or via email at [email protected].
