A financial win, but no trophy: FC Ural's modest profit can't mask the sting of another season outside the Premier League. Sponsorships saved the day—yet again.

FC Ural turns a profit but falls short of Premier League promotion

FC Ural ended the 2025 season with a modest profit but missed out on promotion. The club's financial report shows a net gain of 904,000 rubles, nearly twice the previous year's figure. Despite steady earnings, they remained in the First Division after failing to reach the Premier League. The club's total revenue for 2025 reached 992.2 million rubles. Most of this, 828.4 million rubles, came from sponsorship agreements. Ticket sales added another 135.4 million rubles to the total.

Media rights, however, brought in no income at all. This lack of broadcasting revenue contrasts with the club's other financial sources. The team's failure to secure promotion meant staying in the First Division for another season.

While profits grew compared to 2024, no details were released about how FC Ural's finances compare to other clubs in the Russian First League over the past five years. FC Ural's 2025 financial results highlight a reliance on sponsorship and ticket sales. The club's net profit rose, but without promotion, its revenue streams remain limited. The absence of media rights income further shapes its financial outlook for the future.
