Sunday witnessed the crowning of a champions as Benfica's Under-19 squad declared themselves national junior champions, managing a 2-2 draw with FC Porto in the Seixal Classic. With the draw, Benfica had already secured the title for their young guns, even though their rivals were still in the hunt.

The first half belonged to the Eagles, with Duarte Soares' stunning goal (42') lighting up the halftime scoreboard. However, FC Porto refused to throw in the towel, mounting a remarkable comeback with Leonardo Fajardo (54') and Tomás Peixoto (75') goals putting them in the lead.

The title was within touching distance for Benfica, and they pulled off a spectacular comeback of their own with Soares scoring his second (82'), ensuring they didn't need to wait until the final round to celebrate.
