Cementing their position in Portuguese basketball, Oliveirense claimed their fifth Taça Hugo dos Santos title with a stunning 83-78 victory over FC Porto on May 5, 2025.

The contest kicked off with Porto edging ahead in the first quarter (22-23), but Oliveira de Azeméis' team upped the ante in the second (28-15), leaving them with a 50-38 edge at halftime.

Porto coach Fernando Sa's crew tried to stage a comeback in the third quarter, with a strong run (11-21), but the final slips taken by Oliveirense sealed their win (22-19) in the fourth.

Jubilant Oliveirense celebrated, adding yet another trophy to their collection, surpassing previous winners Benfica, while Porto enters their fourth season without lifting the prestigious cup.
