FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod escapes relegation zone with dramatic 3–0 win

FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod secured a crucial 3–0 victory in the Russian Premier League, lifting them out of the relegation zone. The dramatic win came thanks to a last-minute goal from substitute Daniil Lesovoy in stoppage time.

The match started strongly for the home side when Olakunle Olusegun converted a penalty in the 29th minute. This early lead gave them momentum as they pushed for more goals.

Just before halftime, Luka Tičić added to the scoreline with a deflected shot that beat the keeper. The two-goal advantage put pressure on their opponents, who struggled to respond.

With the game nearing its end, Lesovoy came off the bench to seal the win in the third minute of added time. His decisive strike ensured all three points for FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod, marking their second straight home victory.

The result moves them to 20 points after 21 rounds, level with Krylia Sovetov but now above the direct relegation spots. Their next challenge comes on March 21, when they face league leaders Krasnodar.

The win provides a much-needed boost for FC Pari Nizhny Novgorod as they fight to avoid relegation. With two consecutive home victories, they now sit just two points behind Akron and Rostov, strengthening their survival hopes.
