FC Erzgebirge Aue is marking its 80th anniversary with a special gala on March 4. The celebration will take place at the club's home stadium, featuring a packed programme of activities. Fans of all ages are invited to join in the festivities, with ticket prices tied to the club's founding year.
The event kicks off with a parade involving every team and division from the club. Following this, the 'All-Time XI'—a selection of the greatest players in Aue's history—will be honoured on the pitch. Attendees can also expect film retrospectives showcasing key moments from the past eight decades, along with greetings sent in from supporters worldwide.
The 90-minute programme will include live entertainment before closing with a fireworks display at 7:46 p.m.—a nod to the club's founding in 1946. Ticket prices reflect the anniversary theme, set at €1.90 for children aged 6 to 14 and €4.60 for adults.
To ensure the celebration runs smoothly, the club has requested that its away match against 1860 Munich be moved to March 3. This adjustment allows players, staff, and fans to fully participate in the anniversary events without conflict.
