During his tenure, Munich clinched the German championship four times and the cup on four occasions. As a player, Pesic won a bronze medal at the 2002 World Championships in the USA and a silver medal at the 2005 European Championships in Serbia and Montenegro. His most prosperous club career was with Alba Berlin, where he racked up six championships and five cups before retiring in 2006.
