FC Bayern Munich has secured Emirates as its new "Platinum Sponsor"
The upcoming Bundesliga season is set to be an exciting one, with two major partnership announcements that have caught the attention of football fans worldwide.
Firstly, Emirates, the Dubai-based airline, has returned to the Bundesliga after a hiatus, partnering with FC Bayern Munich. This marks Emirates' first foray into the German football league since their association with Hamburger SV ended in 2019, after a 14-year tenure. The partnership includes various benefits such as exclusive ticket and hospitality allocations, branding at press conferences, flash zone interviews, and other public and digital events. An Emirates lounge will also be established at the Allianz Arena, the team's home stadium.
Sir Tim Clark, President of Emirates Airline, expressed his pride in the collaboration, stating that it reflects a shared commitment to peak performance, progress, and sustainability. Michael Diederich, Deputy Chairman of FC Bayern, shared similar sentiments, expressing his delight to have Emirates as a partner. The 'Fly Better' logo of Emirates is expected to be featured on the jerseys of the club.
Meanwhile, Polestar, the electric performance car brand, has partnered with Borussia Dortmund for the next three seasons, starting from the 2025/26 season. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to progress and sustainability, as both entities strive to make a positive impact on the environment. The agreement includes Polestar's role as the official champion and mobility partner of Borussia Dortmund.
The global fan base of FC Bayern Munich numbers over 140 million people, with 410,000 members and fan clubs in more than 100 countries. Similarly, Borussia Dortmund boasts a significant following, making these partnerships valuable for both parties.
Emirates already has partnerships with several other football clubs, including Real Madrid, FC Arsenal, AC Milan, Benfica Lisbon, Olympique Lyon, and FC Al Ain. Polestar, on the other hand, has partnered with Borussia Dortmund, marking its entry into the world of football.
As the Bundesliga season approaches, these partnerships are set to add a new dimension to the football experience for fans, both in Germany and around the world.
