FC Bayern's women's team currently plays at the FC Bayern Campus, which has a capacity of just 2,500 spectators. Occasionally, they use the Allianz Arena, but its size makes it unsuitable for regular matches. The Unterhaching Sports Park, with its larger capacity, would provide a more suitable home for the team.
FC Bayern has a strategic partnership with SpVgg Unterhaching in youth development. Buying the stadium could strengthen this partnership and provide better facilities for young players. The reported purchase price is around €7.5 million.
